“I’m very proud of my food and the way I grew up. That’s what I wanted to share. I’m always looking for opportunities and new ways to improve and create the most comfortable and special environment possible. My customers are not just customers to me, they’re family and I want them to feel that way. I want them to feel the same acceptance I feel from the community. Home is so far away for me, but that doesn’t matter so much anymore. This is my home away from home and these are the recipes of my childhood, so in a sense I am sharing both my home and childhood with each of my customers. By doing this, I am following in my mom’s footsteps and I wouldn’t have it any other way.”
